Incentives for Commercial Solar Systems in San Marcos, TX
The City of San Marcos Electric Utility provides rebates to help offset the initial cost of grid-tied solar systems, on a first-come, first-served basis. The utility also buys back excess solar power that customers return to the grid.
The program is open to any current SMTX Utility customers (commercial or residential) with an account in good standing. Pre-approval is required in order to qualify for the rebate, and systems must be installed by a NABCEP certified contractor (such as DWS Energy).
